Isolation beautifully captured and drawn. Stunning and powerful piece that most certainly can evoke conversations, perspectives and all sorts of emotion.

Well done.

Beautiful. There is so much to say and discuss here from art, to many different perspectives and concepts...
The different clock faces and all the detail, style and concepts are beautiful. The angles, shading and lighting I think is fantastically executed. It makes a powerful statement that you included opposite labels on same clock faces too..

You nailed what you said you were going for. The upside character in your art work though they cant escape makes me think of the beautiful acrobatic acts of circ de sole flying beautiful above it all and soaring.

A unique perspective among the entries Ive seen so far.

You captured isolation in a way we can relate to, understand and feel. I liked your use of the sunset outside and the color and shading for lighting to illustrate isolation. The perpective of your character looking out the window makes me wonder - maybe hes looking at the 2 shadowed basetball players and wanting to play with them or thinking maybe about having friends or ways to escape the feeling or past or even in his situation what will he do next maybe hes just contemplating his day or even just reflecting on life or maybe hes just enjoying the view. I find im wondering what he he is drawing and I like that we cant see it just the tiniest glimpse of the corner that he is working on something.

Art I can relate to and discuss is super enjoyable. This piece does both. Good work.

The concept is fantastic and done well. I liked both your midway and the finished piece for different reasons. I think both pieces stand alone as independent art work from each other and offer shifts in perspective for isolation.

In the midway its obvious from the lighting and position of the tablet and the shadows in the background that shes introverted and staying at an arms length so to speak completely in her own world.

In the final piece the coloring and lighting gives everything more of a sense of balance likes she is right there next to them but that the focal point of isolation seems to shift as if there is more of an implied emotional wall you can sense and you can feel like shes outside looking in and the tablet becomes less a focus of her isolation.

Both are relatable.
Well done.

Thank you so much for the review! You put my thought process in professional words hahah

Beautiful. Love the use of color and light.

Totally relatable perspective on isolation.

Very Creative idea - isolation as reflection well executed in thought and artistic design.

For a beginner, it shows isolation from being up working late at night on a project.
I can totally relate to that.
I like the lighting on your character.

Suggestion: maybe try to be consistent with use of lines and angels

The detail is fantastic and the lighting and use of shadows I think is done well. Many of us can relate to isolation like this for various reasons and perspectives.

Btw love the led strip of lights for extra light.

Several different aspects in this drawing looked so realistic at first glance. The window wall really grabbed my attention though I know its not the main focal point.

Art work that can bring conversation is great art work...there is so much here I can talk about and so many memories and thoughts it evokes about isolation and so many other feelings.

This is a good piece.

It took hours to get the window and I almost forgot about the keys but in the end, yeah, I'm so happy I didn't xD
I've been getting positive reviews on this and it's making me really really happy, I'm so glad you like it, it means a lot. And yes, the LED strip and the PS4 LED and the computer charger and stuff, I love littl dabbles of light in artworks, I think it helps the atmosphere a lot.

And as for people being able to relate to this, there is no greater honour than to hear that I have evoked emotion with my artwork, it's all I really want. Thank you

There seems like there is so much more light or brightness in this one the mid way but I think you finished it phenomenally and really loved the finished product.
You made a really great decision to darken the foreground behind your character. Darkening certain areas really broadened the isolating feeling to it.

Beautifully drawn and painted.

So many different perspectives of isolation conceptualized here.

Well done.

People can relate to way she is curled up on the chair in utter depair feeling isolated.

Drawnimation responds:

I'm so happy to hear that, because I truly wanted people to understand what she was going through. Have a good night or day! and thank you for making me smile
